What is a TEFL Upgrade or Refresher Course? Well, that depends on what you feel you need.

If you have gained a TEFL, TESOL or TESL qualification from some other provider (or even us) in the past, the time may have come to get back into the training room and review all you may have forgotten, or have forgotten how to apply. Numerous requests from trained teachers have been made to us for such a course, and we are happy at last to oblige. This is a refresher course! Please note that we reduce our regular course fee to you by approximately 25%: 485 GBP from 650 GBP (plus 40 GBP for all course materials and documents), even though this is our regular full-time course, plus-plus. Naturally, if you have previously taken a full-time interactive tefl/tesol/tesl course of at least 100 hours with a professional trainer, there will be parts of our course that you will need to focus less on than will people who have never taken such a course before. On the other hand, if you have come to realize that the full-time course you took some time ago (yes, even the CELTA or Trinity TESOL Course) did not really prepare you to teach English as a foreign language effectively to Asian students because of the huge number of differences between their native languages and ours and the hindrances those differences cause in the learning process, then it is time for you to "Upgrade" to our own course, which is truly the only one in the world that will make you proficient in teaching learners of English of any nationality from the day you first step into the classroom until the course is finished. Finally, what if you have taken and graduated from a short, part-time 'miracle course' consisting of fewer than 100 hours of  interactive training with a full-time TEFL course instructor? What if you studied  in the training room just a few short days or did only (or mainly) online study of "theory" or listened to CDs of other persons teaching?

If you are like most 'miracle course' graduates, then you recognize that you need more! This is, for you, both a course 'Upgrade' and a first-time complete course. Please note that although we reduce our course fee to you by roughly 8.5%: 595 GBP from 650 GBP (plus 40 GBP for all course materials and documents), this is our regular full-time course.
