Trainer Roger Fox has taught all of his life, or so it seems.

His lifelong teaching career prior to conducting English training was in the military as an instructor pilot, training young men from all over the world how to fly, understand about and perform emergency procedures for the Skycrane and Chinook cargo helicopters.

As the standardization instructor for the entire Skycrane program he was responsible for all the curriculum, the written materials and both the flying and written test portions of the courses. He taught the instructors in how to instruct.

After ‘retirement’, Roger taught in a series of private schools and military academies teaching a variety of subjects including math, history, economics, philosophy, algebra and geometry. When he moved to Southeast Asia he attempted to really retire, but after three months knew he could not and took the TEFL course offered by TEXT-AND-TALK Academy.

This led to a long series of teaching assignments, including with an international school, substituting and private tutoring.

Involvement with the community and giving back is important for Roger. He supports the Pattaya orphanage through a sponsorship program, helps a local Thai church financially and is an officer on the board of the Pattaya City Expats Club. In the later capacity, he often emcees the weekly program, organizes club trips and occasionally acts as a speaker himself. You, of course, would be welcome to join also!

Roger has four children and four grandchildren, all living in the United States. He is a Christian, and serious about his faith. He is currently employed as a trainer at the TEXT-AND-TALK Pattaya branch and loves the opportunity to work with a variety of gifted young future teachers. He also does a wonderful training job for all TEFL Course enrollees, and, to a man or woman, they all enthuse over what they learn from Roger's training, and how 'easy' he makes the study seem while at once helping trainees to be all they can be and acquire great teaching jobs when it's all over.

In short, Roger is a man not only of great character who possesses a wealth of life experience; he is also better qualified than almost anyone else to teach you how to make a great 'flight plan' (in other words, a well-organized, fun and effective lesson plan) for the benefit of both your students and your own career as popular language teacher.
