If you are like most people seeking English teacher training for the purpose of teaching EFL (English as a Foreign Language) or ESL (English as a Second Language) courses overseas, you have never had TEFL, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) or TEFL course training before and are simply looking for a short-term but comprehensive TEFL Certificate Course that is affordable, while at the same time preparing you to maximize your earnings through the thoroughness of your instruction.

If the above describes you, our TEFL Course fees are as follows: U.S. $1,320.00 for the course instruction plus U.S. $75.00 for course materials, including seven instruction modules, a CD for helping students pronounce clearly, a carrying bag, and, most importantly, your uniquely beautiful TEFL Course Completion Certificate with your Performance Evaluation and Course Description documents, all of this totaling U.S. $1,395.00, complete. As for training locations, it is certain that Bangkok and Pattaya have far more English teaching jobs available than our other locations. For more information, you can read about Bangkok here, or about beachside Pattaya here.

It deserves to be mentioned, however, that there are excellent teaching positions available just about everywhere in Thailand! Next, to choose both your training venue and your class start-up date (as well as choosing whether you wish to complete your course in four weeks, or six), click here.

And, finally, you simply enroll! You may pay either by credit or debit card (Visa or MasterCard) or bank transfer, and you may pay either the full amount of fees (as most people do for simplicity sake), or just half. Please note that if your bank declines your payment, that is no cause for alarm! The bank is probably trying to protect you from what it regards as potential credit card fraud, and may even have put a password on your account. Simply contact the bank and ask them to approve your payment, and they will do so. It's that simple!

Now, what about everyone else?

1. If you have previously done a TEFL Course with TEXT-AND-TALK Academy and just wish to 'freshen up', your base course fee is reduced to U.S. $895.00. (You must show us your original certificate, or at least provide its certificate number.)

2. If you have previously completed a different intensive and interactive TEFL, TESL, or TESOL Course of at least 100 hours with another institute (and can show us your valid certificate), your base course fee will be reduced to U.S. $990.00, and

3. If you have previously completed such a course of less than 100 hours (even online), your base course fee will be reduced to U.S. $1,210.00.

Is all of this confusing? Not at all! To comprehend how easy this computation really is, just go to our enrollment form (enroll). It is not necessary for you to input any personal information initially. To check your proper course fees, simply tick the boxes showing basic information about your previous training (if any) and choose either our 4-week or our 6-week course (the price is the same), and your base course fee, and the materials and document charge (and these totaled together) will appear automatically! Really quite simple, isn't it? After that, of course, you can simply fill in your personal information, indicate whether or not you want visa help, choose method of payment and click on the Pay button. The bank will e-mail you when your payment has been approved, and our server will e-mail you to thank you for enrolling. That's it!

And suppose you really want to make a career of teaching EFL/ESL, and would like to maximize your earnings by teaching advanced skill courses for English learners, such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, business writing, etc?

If so, you are lucky! The reason is that the first half of our TEFL Diploma Teacher Development Course (TEYL: Teaching English to Young Learners) is now covered free within your certificate course. Therefore, you need only enroll for the the other half of the diploma course, namely the 8-week Advanced Skills Course (which, for the most part, you can even study at home)! For this course, you need to tick the boxes in the enrollment form just as shown above, except, in addition to ticking a tefl certificate course box (unless you have already graduated in a course of at least 100 hours), you will need to tick the 16-week diploma course box. In this case, choose to pay only half for both courses. You will see the amount being paid for each item, and the total amount still owing. You will also note that the half still remaining to be paid for the diploma course does not have to be paid (except for the materials and document fee of U.S. $65.00) because you are receiving half of the course already if you are also taking the certificate course. This half, therefore, can be deducted from the full amount still owing on both courses. If you have previously completed a certificate course of at least 100 hours, you simply proceed as above except you do not purchase the certificate course.

So how much do you pay for the TEFL Teacher Development Diploma? The relevant fee is shown in the enrollment form, of course, but the listing is as follows (each figure increased by U.S. $65.00 for the materials and documents):

1. Enrolling at the same time for the certificate course: One-half of U.S. $1,320.00.

2. Previous graduates of our certificate course (no need to take a new course): One-half of U.S. $895.00.

3. Graduates of other TEFL course of at least 100 hours: One-half of U.S. $990.00.

4. Graduates of a TEFL course under 100 hours, NOT QUALIFIED unless also enrolling in our certificate course. If also taking our TEFL certificate course, the Diploma course fee is one half of U.S. $1,210.00.
