This simply means that a Diploma Course that teaches these skills is also crucially needed here, and the course must be short enough, as is ours, to enable graduates to begin cashing in on their new-found expertise just a short time after graduation. In the pride we have in introducting this new offering, we are not in any way downplaying the importance of our original and highly successful and popular Certificate Course. To the contrary, the expert training we do in that course makes it possible for our graduates to continue their training very successfully in the Diploma Course also. Finally, it needs to be stressed that no certificate course on earth can prepare new teachers to teach the types of courses mentioned above. In other words, people are trained to become teachers per se, and the classes they are immediately qualified to teach, and highly qualified to teach, are conversation. This skill is crucial to the EFL/ESL industry, that is certain. A Diploma Course, however, is for teacher development. Here our Academy puts less stress on the traditional (generally 12-week) advanced theory aspects of teaching that could make someone suitable to speak at a TESOL conference, for example, and much, much more on developing the skills needed to teach all types of classes successfully and well – which is where we feel the focus should be in our society.

Initially realizing that persons investing in a TEFL Course are often concerned about paying for living expenses while they are in training, TEXT-AND-TALK Academy began offering on a trial basis to reduce our regular Certificate Course fee from  £650 (GBP) to just £ 490 (GBP) to fully cover any normal living expenses while they were in training. In doing this, we trusted that, in addition to the uncontested quality and value of our accredited course, trainees might also choose to do our course as a means of saving money while training. Note, finally, that under this type of offer, you are not shunted by us into housing that could make you uncomfortable or unhappy. Rather, you are able to choose your own accommodations, and to have the funds to pay for them.

Now, the offer is even better, because we have reduced course fees for both the Certificate Course and the Diploma Course by 25% (taken as a complete program, up to 50%), which obviously saves you even more money. We do so now, not just as a temporary special offer, but as a way of introducing our easily affordable Diploma Course to you, as well. We trust that you will be pleased with this.

Truthfully, despite the concern about expenses while in training (which in Thailand are typically not very great anyway), our regular course fees are very much in line with the quality and benefits of our courses. Nonetheless, our current special offer may be continued indefinitely, provided that enrollment numbers can justify it. In the meantime, we frankly wish to become more price-competitive locally, as we are gravely concerned that persons who sincerely wish to become professional EFL or ESL teachers may be induced to enroll in courses that, while offering "candy" to enrollees, will not give them the proven benefits that our own courses provide. Finally, a note to persons who have already enrolled in one of our courses, but not yet begun study: If, at the time you begin training, our special course fee reduction is still in place, we will refund to you the difference in the two rates at the end of your period of training, or we will reduce the difference from any fees you may not have paid yet. We trust that you will find this accommodation to be fair. And if any changes in class scheduling differ much from what you may have chosen already, you may be sure that we will accommodate your needs to the very best of our ability, and apologize for any temporary inconvenience.

Much, much more importantly than our fee reduction, however, is the fact that our courses are like none other, in terms of the training you will receive to let you maximize your earnings after training.
