BANGKOK:
While attending our TEFL for Target Learner Groups Course in Bangkok, you will probably wish to arrange for a short-term stay in a flat located near our school. Most people are amazed at how much they can get for so little in our part of the city!Accommodations in Bangkok, unless they are located within the expensive business or tourist sectors, are quite inexpensive. Certainly, if you are well-to-do and always stay "first class" wherever you go, you will find an ample number of housing selections to suit your needs! For most of us, however, "good accommodations" means housing located near the school where we will be working and/or attending classes; and these include air-conditioning, basic (but good quality) furniture, a telephone, a private bathroom with shower and hot water and, hopefully, a refrigerator and cable for hooking up a t.v. (Rental of a t.v. is generally about an extra US$11-12 per month.) Such accommodations are usually available near our school for about US$100. They consist of one-room flats, or apartments (fairly large in size). Places with bathtubs, unfortunately, are hard to find. Flats of more than one room are not available at the price quoted above. With a bit of notice, we can reserve excellent housing accommodations for you - some, when available, within just 5 minutes' walk of our school. These run up to 4,300 baht (less than $100 US) per month, for which you get a large one room air-conditioned apartment fully furnished with large bed, dresser, table, chairs, refrigerator and telephone, as well as a cable t.v. connection. There is also a private bathroom with shower and hot water (no bathtub), private outside balcony area for cooking, doing laundry or just enjoying the green view. This view is lovely, indeed!

A 5,000 baht (about US$115) security deposit is charged when you move in, and this is fully refunded when you move out, minus any utility or other bills you might be owing. Other similar accommodations are available just a short ride from us, and 2-room apartments with swimming pool or sauna can be obtained, as we mentioned earlier, for about twice the above price, but generally require a considerable amount of time on our part in locating and reserving them and are available only for lease periods of 6-12 months.
In most cases, we will be able to reserve a place for you to stay without having to make an advance deposit. So, unless you already have a place to stay, just let us know, and we will be happy to help you find a place with a short-term lease where you can be comfortable while your training (and any teaching work done for TEXT-AND-TALK) is going on!
PATTAYA:
One of the finest and best-equipped training rooms our academy possesses is used for the TEFL course training in Pattaya, and is located in Chaimongkol Temple on South Pattaya Road (just a few steps away from the beach). You can be sure of acquiring excellent accommodations within a price range of about $100-$200 U.S. per month, and that they will be within easy reach of your training location. After you enroll, just tell us the sort of accommodations you require, and our academy will make sure that you get what you want!
CHIANGMAI:
Chiangmai has probably the least expensive accommodations of all our course locations, ranging from US $100 to $150 per month (or less), within walking distance of our academy, to $250-$300 for a luxurious home in a quiet, healthful location generally just a short ride away. Upon your enrollment in our course, you will receive ample help in choosing just the right place to fit your needs, as well as your budget.
KOH SAMUI :
Koh Samui has a wide variety of accommodations. Recently, the trend in Koh Samui housing has been away from guest houses, bungalows, and the like towards large and upscale hotels. The world has discovered Koh Samui! Reasonably priced housing is still available but there is more competition, so plan to make reservations early.
